Single Row Tapered Roller Bearings (Metric Series)

Additional the standard metric single row taper roller bearings listed in the bearing table, DHK also produced single row taper roller bearings with flanges on outer rings (suffix R), only outer rings of taper roller bearing (prefix L), inner rings with the cage and rollers (prefix R) and other special taper roller bearings according to customer

Due to the single row taper roller bearings only can accommodate one direction axial force, these bearings are frequently used as pairs. Upon request, DHK can provide these bearings at Face- to-Face arrangement (suffix DF), Back-to-Back arrangement (suffix DB) or in tandem arrangement (suffix DT), as shown in the below sketch.

  • DHK taper roller bearings are fitted with pressed steel cages as standard. Because the cages of taper roller bearings usually protrude beyond the bearing faces, special care must be taken to follow the recommended abutment dimensions.

  • DHK single row taper roller bearings are produced to normal tolerance class (PN) as standard.

    These bearings also may be produced with closer tolerance such as P6X on request.

    Detail tolerance values are listed in the chapter of tolerance of metric taper roller bearings, page 14. The width tolerance of paired bearings is decided by the clearance and Ts.

     The width tolerance △Cs and VCs are  identical to△Bs and VBs of inner ring of the same bearing 


  • The clearance of single row taper roller bearings is adjusted one bearing against another during mounting.

    DHK taper roller bearing pairs arranged face-to- face (suffix DF) and back-to-back(suffix DB) are produced with internal clearance values, as listed in the table below. DHK can provide bearing pairs with special axial clearance upon request.
