Single row cylindrical roller bearings are available in several basic designs that differ from each other in number and arrangement of their flanges, the most important design variants are shown below.

N type bearings features two integral flanges on the inner ring and outer ring without flanges.
NU type bearings features two integral flanges on the outer ring and inner ring without flanges, N and NU type bearings belong to the Non-locating bearings, they are not able to accommodate any axial loads.
NJ type bearings features two integral flanges on the outer ring and one integral flange on the inner ring, this allows them to accommodate axial loads in one direction only.
NUP type bearings have two integral flanges on the outer ring, one integral flange on the inner ting and a loose rib, so it is locating bearing and can accept axial loads in either direction.
NJ type bearings used in conjunction with thrust collars can build a locating bearing, which can accept axial loads in either direction.

DHK single row cylindrical roller bearings have the rolling elements with modified outer diameter and crowning inner ring raceway, which minimize edge loading stresses between the rollers and raceway.
For applications operating under normal conditions the misalignment must not exceed 4 angular minutes.
For applications where higher misalignment may occur, DHK also produce single row cylindrical roller bearings with special crowned inner ring raceways (suffix B) to enable higher misalignments during operation.
DHK single row cylindrical roller bearings are available with all kinds material and design variants of cage upon request.
The most important materials and design variants of DHK single row cylindrical roller bearing cages are shown below.
Reinforced polyamide cages:
TN normal design of polyamide cage features holding lips on both side of roller pocket.
TN1 These are the enforced design of TN type.
TN2 Features holding lips on one side of roller pockets.This make it can raise the wall thickness of the cage at no-holding lip side, and therefore raised the strength of the cages.
Pressed Steel Cage: JP, JP1
Solid brass cages
M (MA, MB): normal design, features cage cover and cage body, rivetted by the steel rivets.
M2 (MA2, MB2): features cage body with round rivetting heads on its self and cage cover.
M6(MA6, MB6): features cage body with square riveting heads on its self and cage cover.
DHK single row cylindrical roller bearings are produced to normal tolerance class (PN) as standard.
DHK also can provide these bearings with closer tolerance class such as P6 and P5, tolerance.
